[ DC 104 ] At 14:10, soon after the Wagon Wheel power shuts off
( ooc: Group thread encrypted to all specials (threadjacking encouraged). )
Power in the Wagon Wheel just shut off completely.
I'm not sure what's going on.
IntSec is freaking out right now.
[ Oh, of course, she should also mention: ]
I'm okay for now, I think. Maybe. But it's starting to get loud in the hall.
No one can get in or out of any of the doors.
Help.
[ Felicity's on the 17th floor of the Wagon Wheel, since she actually got assigned to work for IntSec. Maybe it was lucky, since IntSec, given their jobs, was one of the more protected floors. ]

[ How is she not friends with this woman yet? Strawberries was one of many things Felicity never expected to see again. ]
Yeah I guess?
The sleep gas won't work if they don't power.
no subject
That's either very good or very much a problem.
no subject
Is that where all the higher ups get their food?
I haven't been here long. But if this blackout isn't over by bedtime ... that means all of us are going to be sleeping here.
*That* is very much a problem.
no subject
Well I guess you could grow mushrooms anywhere, and we might have too if the lights don't come back.
..yes I suppose that's a problem as well. [Her problem was a little bigger than sleeping near her coworkers. She wasn't convinced her visions wouldn't come back without the gas to force her under, not after the incident two days ago.]

eat any of the things you grow?

But I also have swift fingers and a boss who likes me.
I wonder if Steve is playing doorbusters again, now would be a great time for it.
no subject
Who's Steve?
no subject
He makes a great first impression.
no subject
Was he the tall blonde man at the surprise party?
[ and then Felicity realizes, if he's a Special, he could literally read that message she just sent. ]
no subject
[She totally doesn't upsell Steve to everyone for her own personal amusement. Nah. Though in truth he kind of was built like a castle wall.] He's a good man.
You know if might be possible to open the doors manually.
no subject
[ She wasn't going to hide it. Felicity has a weakness for a certain body type. She bets Steve could do the salmon ladder pretty well. ]
How? Like ... *busting* them open?
no subject
And, well. Maybe she needed to make more friends. Get a hobby. Learn to make sweaters out of old electrical wire or something.]
I'm quite fond of my shoulder not being broken, and being that I am built more like a willow branch than a castle wall, cunning might be the course to take rather than brute force.
If I can get something to use as a lever...
no subject
I'm just not sure anything short of an explosive would get thing open. They built these floors like a fort.

Even the big iron gates can be defeated with a little ingenuity.
Besides, all jokes about Steves shoulders aside, I really don't plan on waiting for him or his cohorts to break me out.

What do you mean you lived in a castle?
no subject
[after a moment she adds.]
I'm Morgana, I come from Camelot, yes I know King Arthur, only he's a Prince as we speak, or he was when I was there last. I lived in a castle, I was born in one too. I'm a proper high born lady.
[That usually covers the initial questions, anyway.]
I'm also very good with a sword.
no subject
Fracking Morgana from Camelot? Was this a joke?
Unless it wasn't a joke. If this was true — then it has literally just shattered Felicity's entire world. If Morgana was actually here, then the small amount of hope Felicity had that she wasn't a clone, that she was just kidnapped, is gone. I mean, how could she not be a clone if she was talking to MORGANA FROM CAMELOT?!? ]
lol
[ Because this can't be real. It's a joke. Morgana is clearly telling a joke. And when people tell jokes you write LOL afterwards. ]
no subject
[Morgana frowns at her device.]
What is a lol? Are you alright?
[Root had kind of eyed her with a weird sort of curiosity for a while, and others stared at her sometimes but she'd never quite gotten this response before.]
no subject
[ If she really was from Camelot, she clearly wouldn't no. But god how could she be? ]
Did you know how to use your PDC when you got here?
no subject
So what is a lol?
no subject
lol is an abbreviation. It stands for 'laughing out loud.'
Usually people say it to express that they're laughing when someone makes a joke.
no subject
If anything, this place is the joke. There's no magic and yet we can speak from god knows how far apart. Writing is just tapping little letters. There is no sun, moon or stars. Everyone dresses the same bar for some colour variations. The food is stranger than anything I have ever seen and I once saw all our food turn to dust because Arthur thought killing a unicorn was a swell idea. Or Merlin's mum thought that porridge was supposed to taste like off milk.
no subject
I just.
If you're real and here and breathing. That means we really are all clones. Recreated from history.
no subject
However, I don't see how that makes us clones. Stranger things could happen than people moving through time. They say the fey can alter time, I do not see why others could not move us through it.
no subject
Do you remember time traveling?!
[ Felicity already knows she's being unfair when she pushes send. A few seconds later: ]
I'm sorry.
