DC 129 | Encrypted to Specials
I don't think it's escaped anyone's notice that things are getting more violent of late, but we can't walk in groups all the time and I strongly suspect someone would notice if I carried around a sword, which is the only weapon I really know how to use.
So I've been thinking and wondering if anyone - who is not Steve because I doubt he'd hit me - would be willing to teach me some hand to hand?
I'm sure I'm not the only one who could use a little help in one department or the other, perhaps we could have some sparring sessions at HQ if people are interested? Basically, anything to aid in less of us getting shot or collapsing on live TV. Or being stabbed in some back corridor which I've gotten the impression a few of my friends think will happen to me because I walk alone at night.

Any time after work is fine. We can meet in HQ or in my room, whichever you prefer is fine.

[Honestly, given the whole memory exchange he might be the only person who easily understands how important it was to her, not just to be armed that someone willingly arms her.]
I can come to your room, it's 1204 these days, isn't it? If I'm a bit late it's because I got covered in weird gunk the scientists somehow keep making plants spit out and had to have a shower. The computer and it's stupid ideas...

[ And really, it's that memory exchange that gave him the idea of making something specifically for her - and something she was familiar with. A dagger wasn't a sword, exactly, but at least it's something. ]
1204, yeah. And no problem, take your time. I have somewhere to be at 2100, but other than that I'm free whenever.

[Could anything improve Steve's overprotective nature? Probably not.]
If my shower takes me that long I've probably died. Murdered by the fruits and veggies they're trying to, uh... improve?
Encrypted ; Tony/Morgana
Ha, well I meant more if you want to get something to eat, or something like that. Let's hope that we don't get to murdering fruits and veggies.

I'm sure I won't be too late, the nectar and chemicals usually washes off. Mostly.
Encrypted ; Tony/Morgana
Take your time, I'll be there.

[After all, she did help grow the food that came in those extra rations. She could often talk, buy or steal her way into a little more if needed.]
Encrypted ; Tony/Morgana
Yep, that's where I've been. And, sorry, but you're a friend so I already worry about you. Hence the dagger.
And, I insist. The food is there if and when you want it.
Encrypted ; Tony/Morgana
I won't starve. I survived all the crops turning to dust back home because Arthur killed a damn unicorn, the Complex won't starve me.
[You would think a medieval woman of noble birth would be more accustomed to people helping her, but she's not. The small handful of friends she has here are almost overwhelming compared to what she's used too and Morgana still hasn't quite worked out how to say yes.]
Encrypted ; Tony/Morgana
[ Eating at Steve's is hardly the worst thing they're doing. He has a feeling if someone were to know how often he stays at his place, that would most definitely be frowned upon. ]
So, yeah. The offer STILL stands. You don't have to say yes, now, but as I said, it'll be there if/when you want it.

[Weapons were more important than sufficient food, right?]

[Was there something in the water where they were from?]
Encrypted ; Tony/Morgana
I agree with you, though. Steve would make a great knight.

[Or well, he had only a glimpse of a few of them.]
If nothing else I'd pay a good amount of coin to see him in full armour. It could be entertaining.
Encrypted ; Tony/Morgana
That'd definitely be quite the sight.

[She paused a moment, trying to think if Tony had told her in full what he had seen of her life but then she shrugged. What did it matter?]
It depends. My father wasn't, but Uther let him die... Leon is a good man at heart, Sir Pellinore was. But their hearts don't matter so much when their hands still sin in the worst ways. All because they must follow the King. Even Arthur does so, and I know he knows it's wrong.
But then, back home, I am little more than well-humoured chattel. A pretty jewel for the crown to marry off at it's leisure. My thoughts on morality aren't welcome.
