[ The pretty blonde on screen is a little more serious than Alpha residents usually see her. She smiles, but it’s very slight and it doesn’t quite reach her eyes. She reports the amount of lead in the water, recites the usual drivel about the computer being your friend and informs everyone about the Citizen Improvement ‘opportunity’ tonight. She puts her notes down on the surface in front of her as her expression goes a little harder and a lot more defiant.]

As many of you know, vicious attacks were made against Steve Rogers and Matt Murdock. I’m sure you’ll be pleased to know that both men are doing well and are going to be absolutely fine. Remember, hurting Alpha Citizens is only hurting the Computer and why would we want to do that? The Computer is our friend.

[ She smiles then, still a half-effort thing that doesn’t quite reach her eyes then signs off, except...she doesn’t sign off. She sends a text message encrypted to Specials.]

I’m getting really tired of this and kind of scared. Anyone have any ideas for improving relationships between Specials and Alphas? I mean, there’s the obvious stick together--and if anyone needs a buddy to go anywhere, or do anything I’m volunteering--but that’s a stop gap, not an actual solution.

[Gracie appears on the screen with a smile. She gives the usual lead reports and average temperature. She'd debated for a long time on whether she ought to address the incident with the coffee, but had decided against it, mostly because she remembers very clearly the things she'd done while drugged up. ]

Don't forget to check out the scale model exhibition tonight in Meeting Room C on the 22nd floor. Enjoy your new PDCs and I've got the pleasure of announcing the first ever Charity Ball. I don't have many details, but it's being organized by the museum. As soon as I know more, you'll more. In any case, it's something good to think about.

Don't forget to check out Lydia Martin's new store, Alpha, for a growing line of personal care products.

Gracie out and I hope to see you all in person.

[ The video comes up on Gracie sitting in a chair, holding a sheaf of notes. She reads off the lead statistics, the average temperature and the evening’s citizen improvement. ]

Yesterday, an explosion rocked the bot factory. The explosion was believed to be a demonstration by a protesting group. All efforts to derail things in Alpha Complex were pointless. Things are back online and progressing smoothly, but two citizens were injured. Tony Stark and Cisco Ramon spent some time in the medical unit. I’m assured they will both be as good as new soon.

[ She keeps her opinions to herself, not entirely sure that things are back online, but she’s not going to lend power to the protestors by suggesting otherwise. She shuffles her notes, looks up at the camera and smiles again. ]

Today, we have a special treat. I'm here with a woman of many talents, Lydia Martin: beauty maven, level Yellow and more importantly: chemist, entrepreneur and inventor. Lydia, tell me what prompted you to start a beauty line?

Good Morning, Alpha Citizens. I'm Gracie Cannell bringing you the morning report along with a few reminders.

[ The girl on screen looks excited to be reporting even the drab things. She's wearing a RED jumpsuit and her curly hair has been pulled back off her face. She reports the standard statistics like lead in the water and temperature. She's obviously very comfortable in front of the camera and only briefly glances to her notes as she makes her report.]

Be sure to attend tonight's Citizen Improvement. Several of your fellow citizens will be recognized for their outstanding work in the complex. Special Natasha Romanov won the annual running of the halls. Congratulations, Natasha.

[ She sobers a little, putting down her notes. ] I also want to remind everyone that participation in secret societies is treason. We've had a rash of incidents lately. We all need to stop and think about who we're really hurting. By working together, we can accomplish so much more and innocent citizens aren't harmed.

[ She smiles brightly at the screen again. ] Comments, questions and suggestions are welcome. I'll make sure I respond to everything. Gracie out. [ She ends the report by waggling her fingers at the screen in a wave. ]

ALL SPECIALS
Survey time:

In the realm of toiletries (bath, hair, and personal care products, specifically), what kinds of things would you like to see available in the Commissary? What was your usual regimen in the life you had back home in your glitches? What kind of products did you use? What sorts of things in that vein do you miss the most?

FOCUS GROUP*
Feedback. Did you like the scents? What kind of improvements would you suggest? Did the soaps lather well? Does the texture feel all right on your skin/doesn't leave like a filmy residue or anything like that? What about the perfume/cologne? Too strong, just right, not strong enough? Any feedback at all, positive or negative, is what I'm looking for, here. Let's hear it and feel free to discuss with one another in my absence, as well, because I'm interested in reading that, too.

MATT, DICK, BARRY, STILES, FELICITY
Okay, so I think we're ready to get started. Tomorrow, if you guys can meet me at the Commissary, we can all head up to my lab after our troubleshooting service and having dinner. I can offer you 50cr for helping me out; it's looking like I'm only going to need you for a day.

Barry, I need you to help me actually mix the formulas. Felicity and Dick, see if you can figure out a way to crank out some labels; I'll give you some sketches if you need guidance for a design or whatever, but I don't know how the whole printing aspect or whatever will work here. And Matt and Stiles, you're on packaging, if that's cool with everyone?

((ooc: Focus Group* consists of Morgana, Tony Stark, Felicity Smoak, Natasha Romanoff, Isabelle Lightwood, Buffy Summers, Matt Murdock, and potentially Dick Grayson, Stiles Stilinski, and Barry Allen [idk if they actually tried her stuff or just were willing to help her with the production]))

Message Encryption & Anonymity

All unencrypted posts are posts that are reviewed periodically by Internal Security. Key words are immediately flagged for review, such as terrorist, mutant, anarchy or any and all profanity. You can still post privately to individuals or groups, the message just won't be encrypted and could be read by internal security.

Posts can be encrypted, but require a secret society membership before the knowledge on how to encrypt messages can be gained.

Paper messages and messages written on whiteboards throughout the complex cannot be traced, but may be compromised if discovered. Include the location where the message was left. You can post these messages anonymously if using the anonymous tag.
