The network is safe. Without the key provided to the members, the encryption is unhackable.

[ He's impressed. This looks like something he would've done himself, if not better. Not that he'd admit that outloud.]

I'm working on trying to trace the video that was sent to us with the girl. Their encryption isn't nearly as good. I can at least pinpoint the physical location where it came from.

I want to know how to fight. Who's going to teach me?

( Scott and Stiles aren't here; Allison's dead. There's no one here to defend Lydia but Lydia and it's time. She's sick of being the sitting duck and she's not willing to let an ambush like the one she suffered happen to her again. Next time — and she's convinced that, no matter what Steve wants, there will be a next time — she'll give them a challenge and make them think twice about picking the youngest female Special just because she's young and female. )

Alright, I'm at the mission location. They gave me a telemetry suit that looks like something outta Tron and the vouchers for permission.

Were you able to get anything on the security system from IntSec?

[ Hardison flicks on the video feed. He looks tired but wired. Thanks to Parker there are empty orange bouncy bubble beverage bottles everywhere and cereal boxes littered around. Does she love him or what? He leans back and runs a hand over his face before taking a deep breath.]

Alright, listen. Thanks to myself, Dick Grayson and Matt Farrell we've now got a way to encrypt messages just for those of us they call "Specials". Considering the way things are going it's not a moment too soon either.

No one is looking out for us here but us.

[ He crosses his arms.] Look, we make this look easy, but it wasn't. We have this routed through so many channels it'd make your head spin, but all it takes is one person to compromise it. I don't know you and you don't know me. But if we're going to survive here, we all need to work together. If the network is compromised we can take it down in two minutes, but it's going to take a lot longer to rebuild it. Even longer if any three of us are turned over. Got it?

[ He nods.]

Alright. Then enjoy being able to speak your mind without Big Brother listening in. If you want comms tuned into the network get them to me, Dick or Matt and we can set them up for you.

[ He picks up an almost empty bottle of bouncy beverage and drains it.]

Hardison, out.

It's a dangerous world out there. Protection can be a valuable thing.

How much are you willing to pay for it?

Message Encryption & Anonymity

All unencrypted posts are posts that are reviewed periodically by Internal Security. Key words are immediately flagged for review, such as terrorist, mutant, anarchy or any and all profanity. You can still post privately to individuals or groups, the message just won't be encrypted and could be read by internal security.

Posts can be encrypted, but require a secret society membership before the knowledge on how to encrypt messages can be gained.

Paper messages and messages written on whiteboards throughout the complex cannot be traced, but may be compromised if discovered. Include the location where the message was left. You can post these messages anonymously if using the anonymous tag.
