So I've been thinking and wondering if anyone - who is not Steve because I doubt he'd hit me - would be willing to teach me some hand to hand?
I'm sure I'm not the only one who could use a little help in one department or the other, perhaps we could have some sparring sessions at HQ if people are interested? Basically, anything to aid in less of us getting shot or collapsing on live TV. Or being stabbed in some back corridor which I've gotten the impression a few of my friends think will happen to me because I walk alone at night.

I’m getting really tired of this and kind of scared. Anyone have any ideas for improving relationships between Specials and Alphas? I mean, there’s the obvious stick together--and if anyone needs a buddy to go anywhere, or do anything I’m volunteering--but that’s a stop gap, not an actual solution.

[ 22:00. Curfew, for most, but not for the two GREEN Specials. Steve's counting on that. His hospital room is completely silent now, after the doctors have made their final rounds, but he can't rest. He's heard about the bombing at Matt's office, which had apparently taken place shortly after the shooting at Bot Processing, and questions have been swirling in his mind ever since he regained enough consciousness to process and think.
Working carefully to grab hold of his PDC without injuring himself further, or making himself bleed, Steve pulls the device off a tray and onto his hospital bed. Right next to his pillow.
Steve takes a breath, because he feels like he's strained himself already, and because he needs to check again that his lungs are still okay. But once everything seems fine, or as fine as they're going to be, he issues a voice command for his PDC to dial Matt Murdock. ]
